Critique Service from just £3 per story

As well as our regular short story contest we offer a critique service

For just £12 for any type of story of up to 3000 words you get:

A ten-point 'tick-sheet' critique indicating specific areas in which your work can be improved.

A list of suggested corrections to your story.

An edited version of your piece. 

To benefit from this invaluable service, either click on the button below to pay securely and then upload your story to us, or if you are a UK resident and would prefer to pay by cheque or postal order, click on the printable order form to the right.

Turnaround is normally 48 hours. Your critique and edited story will be emailed to you as a PDF. You are welcome to enter your edited piece, or your original story, into our competition should you choose to do so.
